This is why we are regularly retained by leading P&I clubs, Insurers and Shipowners from the outset of the incidents based on their trust.
When arresting a ship and/or arranging judicial auction sale of a ship in Korea, due to their urgency and procedural uniqueness, they require urgent attention and professional handling. Ship arrest also needs speed and accuracy since ship arrest order shall be obtained from the competent court within only 1~2 days due to the vessels’ short visit to the port. Further, there are many professional legal issues to be checked before the application of the court auction sales for the vessels. We have a wealth of experience of successfully finalizing ship arrest cases and our work scope covers breaking down merits of each case, constantly following movements of vessels, and providing best solution for our clients by obtaining successful decisions from the Courts.
We also provide our clients with legal assistance for settlement, assistance for providing LOU and court action for swift release of the arrested vessels.
Shipbuilding and Ship Finance
Our experienced lawyers have assisted our clients with matters in all forms of contracts of shipbuilding, leasing and BBCHP. We have been successfully acted in disputes concerning shipbuilding, refund guarantee and indemnification damage claims against or sometimes on behalf of Shipyards.
We also advise on ship finance matters which include ship mortgage, ship S&P, relevant procedures in Escrow account, and reviewing documents in ship delivery service.
